“Thank you for sharing your love story with Mr. Kelly and the strength to continue this journey without his presence.

Your words resonate off these pages and tugs at my heart. They also incite me to be overly prepared for the inevitable. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in 2021. Although God healed him completely and he’s doing very well with one kidney we still had to make very hard choices of what if. Your transparency as you navigated uncharted territories are awe inspiring and uplifting. Thank you for sharing this journey and I know this book will bless all who have the opportunity to read it. With tear filled eyes I felt your pain, your uncertainty and your unwavering Faith that our Almighty God would see you through. When you laid your head on your beloved Kelly’s chest, I truly believe he waited for that moment to fell your presence one last time”

Amazon customer,

“ Nothing can totally prepare you for the lost of a love one. This book echoed many of my emotions and helped me to navigate through my grief. I have experienced the lost a love one and can only imagine the challenges the author took to share her personal experiences and thoughts after the passing of her husband. It was insightful, engaging and beneficial. Chapter 6 where she said her final goodbye was a true expression of love. I have gifted this book to friends because we all need to be prepared. A must read!”

I loved the way the author talked about real feelings, the anger, the questioning, the problems she encountered, hard choices and good decision making. She offered possible things unseen and how to deal with them. This author was able to help me realize some things to help me be better prepared for my end of life and the care of my 5 great grandchildren, whom I am raising. I am 78 years old and now I take a better at and have accepted that my long days are behind me and short days are ahead but living each day to the fullest can serve, not only me but my love ones, as well. Now, I am considering being a donor. My life does not have to end when the casket closes but I have the ability to offer to the living a better life. She helped me understand my own feelings, thereby, preparing my great grandchildren for the one day departure of myself and the plans for their care (discussing my wishes with possible caregivers, putting my wishes in writing, putting my finances in order and not letting a day good by without saying, "I love you".) The author seemed to be looking into my soul and with this book, I looked into hers. Thank God for this book of sharing.”
